Additionally, Strad endorses and encourages its employees to participate in their communities over and above company initiatives, through tangible financial and time support.

  • KidSport Alberta
    KidSport Alberta provides children with the opportunity to participate in organized athletics who otherwise cannot afford sports programs in their community. Through 2014, Strad has made a commitment to support KidSport Alberta and looks forward to assisting children pursue their dreams in sports while promoting a happier, healthier lifestyle.
  • STARS Ambulance - STARS & SPURS Gala
    STARS is a charitable non-profit organization that is devoted to providing timely transport and medical care to the critically ill or injured in eastern British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. For 17 years, the STARS & SPURS Gala has helped raise funds to support transport medicine and emergency medical training and education. Strad looks forward to being a major sponsor at the 18th Annual STARS & SPURS Gala, one of the signature fundraising events within the oil and gas industry.
  • The Academy of Music at Mount Royal Conservatory
    Mount Royal Conservatory is one of the premier institutions in North America training young adults in the arts. Mount Royal Conservatory Alumni can be heard in the elite concert halls and studios across the globe. With the help of sponsors like Strad, Mount Royal Conservatory is able to assist young people develop their musical talent, regardless of their financial means.
  •  Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) / Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT)
    Strad Energy Services values education and has taken part in sponsoring two technically leading institutions in Canada: Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) and Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). Over the next five years, Strad will make a significant contribution to the two schools and their various technical programs offered, as well as contribute to two annual scholarships.
  • Canadian Curling Association - Team Owen
    Strad is proud to sponsor Team Owen, an amateur ladies curling team, preparing to qualify for the 2014 Sochi Olympics. Good luck Team Owen!

Criteria for Support:

  • Based within, and serve a Strad Community
  • Organization or event that supports or benefits youth
  • Registered charity which is eligible to issue official tax receipts, or an established not-for profit community association
  • Not be on behalf of a political, lobbyist or special interest group
